After a month using the free trial of Movie Studio Platinum 13, I decided to go ahead and buy it outright from 'MAGIX' who apparently are the sole official online/download distributors. So I start the program, and it asks for my serial number, which is fine, as one was supplied in an e-mail by Magix. So I enter the serial number and submit, a window pops up stating that the program needs to restart in order to 'complete the upgrade process'. Then the first window appears asking me to input the serial number again.

It then continues in the cycle indefinitely. I have run the program in safemode (with networking), in numerous compatability modes, with antimalware disabled, and as both admin and non-admin to no avail.

PC Specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit (I did download the 64bit version of the program, and the trial worked before on the same system) 8-core Intel i7 6900K @ 3.2GHz 2x nvidia GTX 1080 in SLI 32GB RAM Asus X99-E WS Motherboard EDIT: The serial number IS valid, if I change one character in it, it gives me a different message stating the code is invalid, and doesn't restart the program. If prompted, confirm you wish to delete the folder.' I got a reply today, it was something I suspected. But as a relatively novice user I decided against doing anything with the registry without ensuring it wouldn't mess anything up. As with ANY registry editing, I strongly suggest making a backup of your computers registry before doing anything else.
